UPSC NDA 2 Result 2026: 7,886 Qualified for SSB

UPSC NDA 2 result 2026 is out. The written result of the NDA and NA (II) exam held on 13.09.2026 carries a press note dated 09.10.2026, and it calls 7,886 candidates to the SSB interview: 7,406 men and 480 women. UPSC prints no total, so we counted the PDFs ourselves.

Note: We counted both PDFs and got the same 7,886 roll numbers each time. The roll-wise file is dated 09.10.2026 and the name-wise file went up on 13.10.2026. Divide each list by its seats and you get 20 men per seat and 20 women per seat. The ratio is the same for both because UPSC prepares the men’s and women’s lists separately against their own seats.

How to check the result

1. Open the roll-wise PDF from the table above. It is smaller and faster on a phone.
2. Search your full seven-digit roll number with Ctrl+F, or Find in page on a phone.
3. Women should scroll past the male section, because the female list starts after it at serial 1 again.
4. If you lost your roll number, open the name-wise PDF and search your name as written in the form.

If your roll number is not found

Check the name-wise file once before giving up, since a mistyped digit is the usual cause of a blank search. If you are in neither file, you did not reach the written cut off for this cycle. UPSC will publish marks and cut offs only after the final result, and they stay online for 30 days, so note the date when they appear.

Seats behind the list, service by service

Note: These are the approximate seats printed in the notification of 20.05.2026, and UPSC says they can change with training capacity. Look at Air Force Flying if you are a woman. It has 92 seats, and only 2 of them are for women.

SSB registration and the next stage

Note: UPSC gives no calendar date for registration. Two weeks from the press note of 09.10.2026 is 23.10.2026, and that is our arithmetic. Note: Both counts are ours, taken from the official PDFs of each cycle. Our reading is that UPSC sizes the list to the seats, at about 20 names per seat. If that holds, the cut off is what moves between cycles, while the number called to the SSB hardly changes.
