SSC CHSL 2025 final result is out with 3,515 candidates selected for 3,522 posts. Check your roll number in the final list PDF on ssc.gov.in. There is no waiting list, so the 7 unfilled seats go to later years, and document verification is done by the department you are allocated to.
Final result in numbers
| Result figure | What the SSC write-up says |
|---|---|
| Total vacancies | 3,522 posts, the same count declared in the first allocation of 17.08.2026. |
| Candidates selected | 3,515 candidates are provisionally recommended in the final result. |
| Category-wise selection | EWS 337, SC 487, ST 251, OBC 766 and UR 1,674. |
| Fix option | 2,260 candidates chose Fix in the sliding round and kept their allotted post. |
| Float option | 927 candidates chose Float to move up their preference list if a seat opened. |
| New allocations | 328 seats went to new candidates because the earlier allottees missed the sliding round. |
| Result withheld | The result of 3 candidates is withheld, roll numbers 325160371803, 325160085978 and 325160242982. |
Note: 3,522 minus 3,515 leaves 7 seats empty, and we traced every one of them in the post-wise table. All 7 sit in the two Data Entry Operator posts. SSC’s own DEO post (code D54) had 13 vacancies and filled only 7, leaving 6 empty, and the Ministry of Culture DEO post (D56) left its single OBC seat empty. Every LDC/JSA and JHAA seat was filled. DEO needs the data entry skill test on top of the written marks, which is the likely reason so few qualified for it. Anyone who skipped the sliding round in September was treated as absent and dropped from this result.

Note: We opened both result PDFs on 11.10.2026. The list PDF carries roll numbers only, so search it with Ctrl+F for your roll number. Your allocated post code and rank sit against it. The new ranks in this list replace the ranks given in the first allocation.
How to check the result
- Open the Final Result List PDF from the table above.
- Press Ctrl+F (or Find in page on a phone) and type your full roll number.
- If it appears, note the post code against it and match it to the department list in the result notice PDF.
- If it appears, keep the PDF page. Your allocated department will contact you for document verification.
If your roll number is not found
You were not selected in this final round, and there is no waiting list for CHSL 2025. Check first that you searched the full 12 digit roll number. If you were in the August first allocation but missed the sliding round from 01.09.2026 to 03.09.2026, SSC treated you as absent and your seat went to someone else. Three candidates whose roll numbers are listed above have their result withheld, not cancelled.
Post-wise cut off marks
| Post and category | Marks of the last selected candidate |
|---|---|
| LDC/JSA, BRO (L16) | UR cut off 293 for 265 posts, the largest single post, open only to male candidates. |
| LDC/JSA, Election Commission (L18) | UR cut off 317, among the highest of all posts. |
| LDC/JSA, CVC (L28) | UR cut off 321, the highest UR figure, for just 2 posts. |
| DEO, SSC (D54) | UR cut off 211, far below every LDC post, with 6 of 13 seats unfilled. |
| SC cut off range | The last selected SC candidate scored between 284 and 304 depending on the post. |
| ST cut off range | The ST figure runs from 269 to 303 across posts. |
| OBC cut off range | The OBC figure runs from 281 to 317 across posts. |
| EWS cut off range | The EWS figure runs from 285 to 315 across posts. |
Note: These are total marks of the last candidate selected for each post and category, as printed in the result notice. For UR on LDC/JSA posts the spread is 293 to 321, a gap of 28 marks, so the same score could land one post and miss another. Ties were broken on Tier 2 Section 1 marks, then Tier 1 marks, then the older candidate. We left out post codes whose department name the notice prints across broken lines, rather than guess.
After the result
| Next step | What the write-up says |
|---|---|
| Document verification | It is done by the department you are allocated to, not by SSC. |
| No letter in 6 months | Write to the allocated department directly if you hear nothing within six months. |
| Waiting list | SSC prepares no reserve list, so unfilled and unjoined seats carry forward. |
| Dossier | Departments download your dossier from the SSC e-dossier module, no other mode is accepted. |
| Answer key and marks | The final answer key and full marks will be uploaded later. |
Note: SSC also says it will not answer letters about document verification or joining. Everything after this result goes through the allocated department, so keep the post code from the list handy.
