UGC NET Exam Pattern (Quick Reference)
The UGC NET exam has two papers in a single session. Paper-I (50 questions, 100 marks) tests teaching aptitude, reasoning, and general awareness. Paper-II (100 questions, 200 marks) covers the subject you chose. No negative marking in UGC NET. Total duration: 3 hours for both papers combined.
For JRF, the age limit is 31 years. For NET (Assistant Professor), there is no upper age limit.
