BPSC school teacher TRE 4 online form 2026 has still not opened. Advertisement
number 14/2026, issued by the Bihar Public Service Commission on 18 August 2026 for 32,388 school teacher posts
in the Education Department, was to take applications from 1 September, but the Commission postponed that on
31 August 2026, a day before it was due to start.
The Commission’s notice of 1 September 2026 says the application process is likely to begin on
21.09.2026, after a revised advertisement is issued and the online form is amended.
No revised advertisement had been published as on 12.09.2026, so the 1 to 30 September window printed in the
original notice no longer stands and the closing date will move with the new opening date. The fee is a flat
Rs 100 for every candidate, and selection is by preliminary and main examination with no
interview.
Where TRE 4.0 stands today
This is the one section worth rechecking before you plan anything, because three notices changed the
position in a fortnight and the original dates are still in circulation elsewhere.
| Stage of advertisement 14/2026 | What the Commission has actually published |
|---|---|
| Advertisement issued | 18.08.2026, with the four district-wise vacancy lists and the STET self-declaration form the same day |
| Application postponed | 31.08.2026, one day before the 1 September opening. The notice gives no revised dates of its own |
| Probable opening date | 21.09.2026, per the notice of 01.09.2026. The wording is sambhavna hai, likely, not confirmed |
| Revised advertisement | Not published as on 12.09.2026. The 01.09 notice makes the revised advertisement and an amended online form the condition for opening, so it must appear before applications can start |
| Other Commission activity | Yes, which is why the silence is specific to this recruitment. Its notice uploads since 01.09 cover Research Officer 08/2026 (final answer keys 08.09, OMR upload 11.09), Factory Inspector 03/2026 and two 72nd CCE corrigenda, but nothing on 14/2026 |
BPSC TRE 4.0 vacancy breakup by class level
