The PDF prints roll numbers only, with no count and no marks. We counted them: 6,867 candidates are provisionally selected against the 7,150 apprentice seats advertised, which leaves 283 seats unfilled. Rechecked on 12.09.2026: the result PDF still opens, and SBI’s careers listing for this advertisement still reads that the list of provisionally selected candidates has been announced, with nothing newer added.

Checking the result
The result is published as a list on the careers section rather than behind a personal login, so most candidates will search the published file for their roll number. Keep the registration number and date of birth handy, since any scorecard or call letter that follows will ask for them.

Merit list by state and category
A common misunderstanding is that one national cut-off decides everything. It does not. Merit is prepared separately for each state and each category, so the marks needed in one state can differ sharply from another even in the same year.

SBI Apprentice exam pattern and marking scheme
Understanding the paper helps candidates estimate their aggregate before the official list appears. Each of the four sections is separately timed, and negative marking applies throughout, so an estimate built only on attempted questions will read higher than the real score.

Educational qualification
A graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university or institution is required. The degree must be from an institution recognized by the Government of India or any state government. Candidates who have appeared for final year exams and are awaiting results are not eligible.
