How to check your roll number in the OSSC CGL list

- On the recruitment news board, find the item dated 19.08.2026 that mentions the list of candidates shortlisted for certificate verification of CGLRE 2025.
- Open it from that board. The Commission serves these lists straight from its notice board rather than as separate shareable web addresses.
- Use the search box of your PDF reader and type your full roll number instead of scrolling, because the list runs into thousands of entries printed two columns to a page.
- Note the category printed against your roll number, because that is the category against which you have been shortlisted.
- Repeat the same check on the Mathematics Test and Computer Skill Test lists dated the same day, since those are separate documents.
What if your roll number is not found in the list
Search the exact roll number printed on your admission certificate rather than a partial number, and check all three lists separately, because qualifying the Computer Skill Test or the Mathematics Test is not the same thing as being shortlisted for certificate verification. If the number is genuinely absent from the certificate verification list, the marks secured in the Main Written Examination did not reach the level drawn for that category in this round. The Commission has not announced any separate representation window against this provisional list, so the correct route for a grievance is the contact channel published on the OSSC website.
