| Under Investigation or Provisional cases | Candidates flagged UI or Provisional in the PET-2025 result may apply provisionally, but shortlisting and selection remain subject to the outcome of the Commission’s enquiry. |
| How you log in | Through your PET-2025 registration number with an OTP sent to the mobile number and email registered against it. |
134 posts — category and horizontal breakup

Qualification and age for Junior Engineer Agriculture
The qualification comes from the UP Agriculture Department Junior Engineer Service Rules, 2015, and the age is fixed to 1 July of the advertisement year rather than the application date.
| Requirement | Official condition |
|---|---|
| Essential qualification | Pass in the High School examination of the Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad Uttar Pradesh or a recognised equivalent. |
| Diploma required | A three-year diploma in Agricultural Engineering from the Technical Education Council, Uttar Pradesh, or an equivalent qualification approved by AICTE. |
| UPSSSC JE Agriculture age limit | 18 years completed and not more than 40 years as on 1 July of the calendar year in which the vacancies are advertised, which is 1 July 2026 here. |
| Age relaxation | The upper limit is higher by the number of years notified for SC, ST and other categories notified by the government. |
| Preferential qualification | Preference goes to a candidate who has served at least two years in the Territorial Army or holds a National Cadet Corps ‘B’ certificate. |
| Deadline to hold the qualification | All essential qualifications and their certificates must be acquired by 07-10-2026, the last date of application. |
UPSSSC JE Agriculture application fee
The fee at this stage is the same for everyone and unusually small, but it is not the only fee in the process.
| Fee question | Amount and rule |
|---|---|
| Fee for all categories | ₹25 in total for unreserved, OBC, SC and ST candidates alike. The application fee itself is nil and only the online process fee of ₹25 is charged. |
| Women, Divyangjan, ex-servicemen and sportspersons | Pay according to their original category from the four above, so the amount remains ₹25. |
| Main examination fee is separate | Only candidates shortlisted for the main examination pay it, and it must be paid before downloading the main exam admit card. |
| Payment modes | Credit card, debit card, internet banking, UPI or an SBI e-challan paid at any SBI branch. No other mode is permitted. |
| EWS income condition | Family income from all sources in the preceding financial year must be below ₹8 lakh, with the certificate issued between 01-04-2026 and 07-10-2026 on FY 2025-26 income and valid for FY 2026-27. |
The fee reconciliation trap
This costs candidates their application every cycle. Paying is not the same as the form being submitted, and the advertisement spells out the fix.
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| Paid but the form does not appear | The fee has not been reconciled by the bank. Use Update Your Transaction ID by Double Verification in the Applicant Segment, verify the transaction ID, then download and print. |
| Payment failed and a PAR appeared | A Payment Acknowledgment Receipt shows instead of the form. Verify the transaction ID first, then pay again through Application Fee Deposition. |
| No printout without reconciliation | The application cannot be printed until the deposited fee is reconciled by the bank, and the form is finally submitted only after successful payment and reconciliation. |
| Hard deadline for reconciliation | Reconcile by 07-10-2026 or within seven days of it, that is by 14-10-2026. After that neither reconciliation nor a printout is possible. |
| Checking your status | Log in to the Applicant’s Dashboard with the PET-2025 registration number to see application and fee status. |
