Yes. The confusion on other sites comes from the fact that S.S.S.C. announced the release date three weeks in advance, so many pages still carry the old “not released” status. Here is the verified position.

What the exam looks like on the day

How to download the Haryana Court Clerk admit card

The admit card opens through the same candidate portal used for the application, not as a public PDF. Print it before exam day rather than relying on a phone screen at the centre.

  1. Open the S.S.S.C. candidate portal for the Clerk (Subordinate Courts of Haryana) recruitment.
  2. Log in with the registration number and password or date of birth used at application.
  3. Open the e-admit card link for Advt. No. 36C/SSSC/HR/2026.
  4. Check your name, photograph, category, exam date, reporting time, shift and centre address carefully.
  5. Download the file and take a clear printout, colour preferred, on A4 paper.
  6. Read the instructions printed on the admit card itself — reporting time is well before the exam start time.

What happens after the written exam

The written test is not the last stage, and the next one carries no marks — but skipping it ends your candidature all the same.

Haryana Court Clerk 2026 Result – current status

The Haryana Court Clerk 2026 result has not been declared, and it cannot be until the exam finishes. Applications for the 1265 posts are closed, e-admit cards went up on 17.08.2026, and the online Computer Based Test runs from 24.08.2026 to 07.09.2026 under Notice No. 508/S.S.S.C. dated 31.07.2026. Because the exam runs across multiple days and shifts, nothing is released until the last shift is over — and the provisional answer key comes before the result, not after it. Going by the previous clerk cycle, the CBT result lands four to eight weeks after the exam ends, which points to October or November 2026. This page explains what to expect at each stage. Last updated: 23.08.2026.

Status

StageStatus
Written exam (CBT)24.08.2026 to 07.09.2026 – multiple days, 2 shifts a day
Admit cardReleased on 17.08.2026 at sssc.gov.in
Provisional answer keyAfter the exam, at sssc.gov.in
CBT resultNot declared
Computer Proficiency Test (CPT)After CBT result
Final select listAfter CPT and document checking

The direct result link will be added here when it is published.

How to check (when declared)

  1. Go to sssc.gov.in/results.
  2. Open the result notice for Clerk, Advt. 36C/SSSC/HR/2026.
  3. Search your roll number in the PDF, or log in if an individual scorecard is provided.

After the CBT result

Shortlisted candidates take the Computer Proficiency Test: a spreadsheet test of 10 marks (pass mark 4) and an English typing test at 30 WPM. It is qualifying only. The select list is then built strictly on CBT marks; if two candidates tie, the older one ranks higher. Re-evaluation is not allowed, though you can request re-checking for Rs. 500 per answer sheet within 30 days of the final result.

PwBD candidates with conditions that limit typing speed can apply for CPT exemption within 15 days of the CBT result, with a disability certificate and a medical certificate from a government healthcare institution. The competent authority’s decision on exemption is final.

Official qualifying marks fixed in the advertisement

Unlike the cut off, the qualifying floor is not a guess β€” it is written into Advt. No. 36C/SSSC/HR/2026 and cannot move. Clearing it is a separate hurdle from making the merit list, and candidates fail on this every cycle by scoring well in one subject and poorly in the other.

Qualifying questionWhat the advertisement fixes
Minimum in each subject33% β€” in General Knowledge and in English Composition separately
Minimum in aggregate40% of both subjects combined, on top of the 33% rule
Total marks of the written exam100 β€” General Knowledge 50, English objective 20, English subjective 30
Negative marking effect on your scoreOne-fourth mark cut per wrong objective answer, so a guess-heavy attempt can drag you below the floor
Whose subjective paper is even checkedOnly candidates scoring 33% or more in General Knowledge; others are out before the essay is read
Which marks are normalizedObjective marks, by the Standard Deviation Method across shifts; subjective marks stay actual
Does the Computer Proficiency Test affect meritNo. CPT is mandatory but qualifying only and its marks are not counted in final merit

Qualifying marks vs cut off – not the same thing

The qualifying marks are written into the notification: 33% in General Knowledge, 33% in English Composition, 40% in aggregate. Clearing them only makes you eligible. The actual cut off is the score of the last selected candidate in your category, and with lakhs of applicants chasing 1265 seats, that number sits well above the 40-mark floor.

RuleMarks needed (out of 100)
General Knowledge minimum (33%)16.5 out of 50
English Composition minimum (33%)16.5 out of 50
Aggregate minimum (40%)40 out of 100

What will move the cut off this year

  • 1265 vacancies is the biggest clerk recruitment in Haryana courts in years. A bigger seat count pulls the cut off down.
  • The subjective English section (30 marks, typed) keeps totals lower than a fully objective paper would. Few candidates score above 24 in it, which caps the top end.
  • Negative marking of 0.25 punishes blind guessing in the 100 objective questions.
  • Normalization across shifts means a tough shift will not sink you, but it also smooths out easy-shift advantages.
  • A graduate-level paper with only two subjects attracts a very wide applicant pool, which pushes the cut off up. The last clerk recruitment drew several lakh applications.

Haryana Court Clerk previous year cut off β€” what actually exists

This is the phrasing most people search, so it is worth being straight about it: for the Haryana subordinate-courts Clerk post there is no official category-wise β€œprevious year cut off” table to download. The rows below give the position on the official record, checked on 23.08.2026, and what to use instead.

Previous year cut off questionWhat the official record shows
Previous year cut off listNo category-wise cut-off PDF for an earlier S.S.S.C. Haryana Clerk cycle is published on sssc.gov.in. Checked on 23.08.2026, the Clerk section of the notice board carried only the examination-date notice, the PwBD scribe notice and the document-edit window notice β€” no result, merit list or cut-off document.
Why no previous year figure existsThis recruitment runs under Advt. No. 36C/SSSC/HR/2026 and its written exam is being held from 24.08.2026 to 07.09.2026. A cut off is derived from the marks of a completed exam, so no genuine figure for this cycle can exist before that exam is over and evaluated.
Previous year cut off shown on other sitesNumbers circulating as a Haryana Court Clerk previous-year cut off are not traceable to an S.S.S.C. document. Some are lifted from HSSC Clerk, which is a different recruitment by a different body with its own paper and its own marks. Treat any category-wise table without a linked official PDF as unverified.
The qualifying marks that are official33% in General Knowledge and 33% in English Composition separately, plus 40% in the aggregate of both. This is fixed in the advertisement and, unlike a cut off, does not change with the year, the paper or the number of applicants.
When the 2026 cut off arrivesS.S.S.C. publishes the cut off along with the written-exam result on sssc.gov.in. The direct portal link is in the Important Links table at the end of this page.
What to revise instead of a previous year paperThe exam is 100 marks β€” General Knowledge 50, English objective 20 and English subjective 30. The subjective English component is where the aggregate is most often lost, and it cannot be prepared from a multiple-choice question bank.
