AIBE 22 apply online dates and portal status

Who has to register again and who should just log in
Registering a second time is the most common and most expensive mistake at this stage, because it splits your record across two accounts.
| Your situation | What BCI has instructed |
|---|---|
| You are a fresh candidate | Register yourself and complete the online application form through the AIBE XXII portal. |
| You failed AIBE XX or XXI | Do not register again. Log in with your existing User ID and password to fill and submit the AIBE XXII form. |
| You already registered for AIBE XXII | Use the returning-candidate login on the portal rather than creating a second account. |
| You passed AIBE XXI | You do not need AIBE XXII. The AIBE XXI result has already been declared by BCI. |
| You applied for AIBE XXI rechecking | That window closed on 04.08.2026 and updated results, if any, were communicated by email. |
AIBE 22 eligibility for final year and enrolled advocates
BCI has published a clarification on eligibility, and it is broader than many candidates assume. It covers people who never collected their degree and people who once enrolled and later surrendered that enrolment.
| Eligibility question | What the BCI clarification says |
|---|---|
| Which LL.B degrees qualify | Both the 3 year and the 5 year LL.B, from BCI recognised universities or approved colleges. |
| Can final year students apply | Yes. Final year, final semester LL.B students without any backlogs are eligible to apply. |
| What if you have a backlog | The clarification limits student eligibility to those without any backlogs. |
| What if you never collected your degree | Still eligible. The clarification covers candidates who may or may not have procured their degrees. |
| What if you surrendered enrolment | Still eligible. It covers those who may or may not have been enrolled, or having once been enrolled had surrendered their enrolment. |
How to apply for AIBE 22 online form 2026
Complete the form in one sitting and keep the confirmation, since BCI communicates result and rechecking outcomes to the registered email address.
- Open the AIBE application portal from the Important Links section at the end of this page.
- Choose fresh registration if this is your first attempt, or the existing-candidate login if you appeared in AIBE XX or XXI.

What to do if the AIBE exam date 2026 is not announced yet
Several dates that candidates search for simply do not exist yet, and it is better to know that than to keep refreshing aggregator pages.
| What you are looking for | Current position |
|---|---|
| The AIBE 22 exam date is not available | Correct. BCI has not published an examination date for AIBE XXII as on 22.08.2026. |
| Your admit card is not available | Expected. No admit card can be issued before the examination date and centre allotment are announced. |
| The fee amount is not shown | The notification page carries no AIBE XXII fee figure yet. The fee screen appears within the application flow. |
| Your old login is not working | Existing-candidate login applies to AIBE XX and XXI candidates. Older cycles used different portals and those credentials will not carry over. |
| Your city is not listed | BCI publishes a fixed exam city list for AIBE XXII, and choices are limited to the cities on it. |
