Odisha Subhadra Yojana 2026 pays ₹10,000 a year to eligible women in Odisha, in two instalments of ₹5,000. Rechecked on 12.09.2026: the official Subhadra portal still carries no online application form and no Apply Online button anywhere in its navigation, only application status, the beneficiary list, the NPCI rejected list and grievance. The last new-application window reported by state media ran from 1 to 30 April 2026, and no further window has been announced officially.
Application status as on 12.09.2026
This is the question most people arrive with, so it is answered first. The check below was made directly on the Government of Odisha Subhadra portal run by the Department of Women and Child Development, not on a news report or a third-party page.
| Subhadra apply 2026 | Position on 12.09.2026 |
|---|---|
| Apply online status | The portal has no online application form now. |
| Subhadra new apply 2026 | A 1 April 2026 to 30 April 2026 window has closed. |
| Portal services | Application status, beneficiary list, bank rejection list and grievance. |
| Source verified | The Subhadra portal and the WCD guideline, checked 12.09.2026. |
Note: The portal’s only citizen options are Application Status, Beneficiary List and Grievance. The April window was reported by Odisha state media, and no new window is announced. The portal was first checked on 20.08.2026.
If you already applied in an earlier round, you do not need to apply again. The scheme guideline states that eligibility is re-verified each year for the scheme period, so an existing beneficiary continues without a fresh application as long as she keeps meeting the conditions.

Installment date and when ₹5,000 is credited
The instalment schedule is fixed in the guideline itself, which is why it repeats every year rather than being announced afresh. Most pages leave this vague. The official rule is specific.
| Subhadra installment date | Guideline |
|---|---|
| 1st installment date | ₹5,000 on Rakhi Purnima each year. |
| 2nd installment date | ₹5,000 on International Women’s Day, 8 March. |
| Yearly amount | ₹10,000 a year in two installments. |
| Payment route | By DBT through the Aadhaar Payments Bridge System. |
| Whose account | A single-holder account in her own name. |
| Scheme period | Five years, 2024-25 to 2028-29, in all 30 districts. |
| Last date current round | The 2026 window closed on 30 April 2026. |
| Reapply every year | No, eligibility is re-verified each year instead. |
| Total benefit | ₹50,000 per woman over five years. |
Note: The account must be Aadhaar-enabled and DBT-enabled. A joint account is a common reason a credit fails. Applications were still closed on 12.09.2026, three weeks after the previous check. The total assumes she stays eligible each year.
Because payment runs on the Aadhaar Payments Bridge rather than on the account number you typed into the form, the money follows whichever account your Aadhaar is currently seeded to. If you have changed banks since applying, the credit will attempt to go to the old seeded account, and this is the single most common cause of a missing instalment.
Beneficiary list and status check
The portal publishes the beneficiary list and a separate list of accounts rejected at the banking layer. These two are different lists and are worth checking in order, because being on the beneficiary list does not by itself guarantee the credit went through.
| Subhadra list check | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Beneficiary list | Whether your name was approved as a beneficiary. |
| Application status | The stage your application is at, after citizen login. |
| Bank rejected list | Accounts that must be activated, seeded or updated before DBT. |
| Aadhaar seeding check | Check it on UIDAI myAadhaar, not the Subhadra portal. |
Checking status and beneficiary list
Both checks are done on the official portal. Direct links to each page are in the Important Links section at the end of this article.
- Open the official Subhadra portal run by the Department of Women and Child Development, Government of Odisha.
- For your own application, choose the Application Status option and log in as a citizen using your registered details.
- For the published list, open the Beneficiary List page instead, which does not need a login.
- The rejected list is searched the same way, without a login, by picking district, then block or ULB, then gram panchayat or ward. All 30 Odisha districts were selectable on 12.09.2026, so there is no district for which this check is unavailable.
- If your name appears as a beneficiary but no money has arrived, open the separate bank account rejected list and search for your name there.
- If your name appears on that rejected list, visit your bank branch and get the account activated, Aadhaar-seeded and DBT-enabled before the next instalment cycle. The portal’s own instruction on that page says exactly this: beneficiaries on the NPCI rejected list must get Aadhaar linked to their bank account before Subhadra assistance can reach them.
- If none of the above explains it, raise a grievance on the portal or call the Subhadra helpline.
Subhadra Yojana eligibility, age limit and income rules
Eligibility is set out in the scheme guideline. The age rule is tied to a qualifying date and is calculated from the date of birth recorded on your Aadhaar card, which overrides any other document.
| Subhadra eligibility | Official rule |
|---|---|
| Age limit | 21 or more and under 60 on the qualifying date. |
| Age window 2024-25 | Born between 02.07.1964 and 01.07.2003, as on 01.07.2024. |
| Date of birth used | The Aadhaar date of birth is final. |
| Income limit | NFSA or SFSS card, or family income up to ₹2.50 lakh. |
| Residence | She must live in Odisha, in any of the 30 districts. |
| Turning 21 later | She gets ₹10,000 a year for the remaining years only. |
| Turning 60 later | She stops getting the benefit for the remaining years. |
Who is not eligible for Subhadra Yojana
The exclusions matter more than the qualifying rules in practice, because most rejections come from this list rather than from age or residence. One exemption inside it is widely misunderstood and is set out explicitly in the guideline.
| Subhadra not eligible | Guideline rule |
|---|---|
| Other government aid | Excluded if getting ₹1,500 a month or ₹18,000 a year from a scheme. |
| Income tax | Excluded if she or a family member pays income tax. |
| MP or MLA | Excluded if a family member is or was an MP or MLA. |
| Elected representative | Excluded if one is in a local body, except ward members. |
| Government job | Excluded if she or family holds a government job or pension. |
| Honorarium workers | ASHA and Anganwadi workers are not excluded. |
Note: The aid rule covers pensions, scholarships or similar assistance under any State or Central scheme. The job rule covers regular or contractual staff of the State, Government of India, PSUs, boards, local bodies and government organisations. Community resource persons and master book keepers are also exempt.
Names missing from the list
A missing name and a missing payment are two different problems with two different fixes, and treating one as the other is why many complaints go nowhere. Work through the causes below in order.
| Subhadra name not in list | What to do |
|---|---|
| Name not in list | Check your application status to see where it stopped. |
| Listed but not paid | Check the bank account rejected list first. |
| Account not seeded | Seed your account with Aadhaar for DBT. |
| Joint account | Use a single-holder account in her own name. |
| Excluded on eligibility | Usually the ₹1,500 aid rule or a family employee or taxpayer. |
| Bank changed | Re-seed Aadhaar to the account you now use. |
| Paper form, no news | The paper form may never have been digitised at the centre. |
| Form differs from Aadhaar | Aadhaar is final, so correct Aadhaar, not the form. |
| e-KYC not completed | Complete e-KYC, preferably by face in the Subhadra app. |
Note: Paper forms are free at Anganwadi centres and CDPO offices and are submitted at an Aam Sebha Kendra or CSC. A form never digitised does not appear in the online status check. An application stalled at e-KYC stays out of the list.
Subhadra Yojana helpline and grievance
Use the grievance route on the portal for anything specific to your own application, since the helpline cannot see case details that have not been raised formally.
| Subhadra helpline number | Detail |
|---|---|
| Helpline number | Call 14678, shown on the portal on 12.09.2026. |
| Online grievance | File it on the Subhadra portal for a traceable record. |
| Nodal department | Women and Child Development, Government of Odisha. |
| Bank problems | Your bank branch handles Aadhaar seeding and DBT. |

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Subhadra Yojana apply online open now?
No. As on 20 August 2026 the official Subhadra portal shows no online application form. Only application status, the beneficiary list and grievance are available to citizens.
What was the last date to apply for Subhadra Yojana in 2026?
State media reported a new-application window from 1 April 2026 to 30 April 2026. That window has closed and no further window has been announced on the official portal.
What is the Subhadra Yojana age limit?
The applicant must be 21 years or more and less than 60 years as on the qualifying date. The date of birth recorded on the Aadhaar card is treated as final.
When is the Subhadra first installment released?
The scheme guideline sets the first instalment of Rs 5,000 for Rakhi Purnima each year, and the second instalment of Rs 5,000 for International Women's Day on 8 March.
How much money is given under Subhadra Yojana?
Rs 10,000 per year for five years from 2024-25 to 2028-29, a total of Rs 50,000, paid in two instalments of Rs 5,000 each subject to yearly eligibility.
What is the income limit for Subhadra Yojana?
The applicant should be covered under NFSA or the State Food Security Scheme. A woman without an NFSA or SFSS card can apply if family income is not more than Rs 2.50 lakh.
My name is in the beneficiary list but I did not get the money. Why?
This is usually a banking failure rather than a rejection. Check the published bank account rejected list, and confirm your account is single-holder, Aadhaar-seeded and DBT-enabled.
Can Anganwadi and ASHA workers get Subhadra Yojana?
Yes. The guideline exempts workers receiving an honorarium, including ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers, community resource persons and master book keepers, from the government employee exclusion.
Can I get Subhadra if I already receive a pension?
Not if the assistance is Rs 1,500 per month or more, or Rs 18,000 per year or more, under any State or Central government scheme. Below that threshold the exclusion does not apply.
Do I have to apply again every year for Subhadra?
No. Eligibility is re-verified each year for the scheme period rather than requiring a fresh application, so an existing beneficiary continues while she keeps meeting the conditions.
What is the Subhadra Yojana helpline number?
14678, as displayed on the official Subhadra portal on 20 August 2026. For case-specific problems use the grievance section of the portal, which creates a traceable record.
Can a joint bank account receive the Subhadra payment?
No. The guideline requires a single-holder account in the beneficiary's own name that is Aadhaar-enabled and DBT-enabled.
