UP CAHET 2026, the Common Allied Healthcare Entrance Test run by Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, has reached the end of its admission cycle. Stray round registration closed on 02.09.2026 at 6:00 PM and on-campus counselling began on 05.09.2026, so there is nothing left to apply for as this page is checked on 10.09.2026. One thing worth fixing first: CAHET is not the nursing entrance test, and an earlier version of this page said it was.
CAHET 2026 status as on 10.09.2026
All of this comes from the university’s own revised stray round bulletin and its admission portal.
| UP CAHET 2026 status | Position on 10.09.2026 |
|---|---|
| Application | The application window is closed. |
| Stray round registration | It ran 25.08.2026 – 02.09.2026. |
| Reporting slots | They were published on 02.09.2026. |
| Counselling date | On-campus counselling began on 05.09.2026. |
| New candidates | Nothing is open for new candidates. |
| Counselling venue | ABVMU in Lucknow. |
| Bulletin in force | The revised stray round bulletin applies. |
Note: The application window ran in May and June 2026 and nothing reopens it. Stray round registration closed at 6:00 PM. Reporting slots went up at 8:00 PM, by rank, on the portal. The counselling start date is described as tentative. Portal logins stay live for candidates already in the process. The venue is Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, CG City, Sultanpur Road, Lucknow. The university reissued the stray round bulletin.

Note: Checked on 10.09.2026. The portal, abvmucet26.co.in, covers all three entrance tests. The revised bulletin (bachelor courses, text-searchable) is the source of the dates above. The information bulletin is the source of courses and fees.
The address abvmucet26.co.in/entrance2026, which this page and many others printed as the registration portal, returns Not Found on its own. Only the per-course login paths beneath it work, which is why they are listed separately above.
CAHET is not the nursing entrance test
This is the correction worth making loudest, because it sends people to the wrong login. One portal carries three separate entrance tests, and nursing is not in CAHET at all.
| CAHET vs nursing exam | Courses |
|---|---|
| CAHET | It covers allied healthcare courses, not nursing. |
| CNET | It covers B.Sc, Post Basic and M.Sc Nursing. |
| UPGET | It covers the GNM course. |
| CAHET bachelor form | CAHET bachelor is Form 4 on the portal. |
Note: CAHET covers allied healthcare bachelor and master courses only. CNET covers B.Sc Nursing (four years), Post Basic B.Sc Nursing (two years) and M.Sc Nursing or NPCC (two years). UPGET covers the three-year GNM course. This page’s old title and course list put nursing inside CAHET, which would have sent a reader to the wrong form. Each course block has its own login, and the form number in the address identifies it.
The eight bachelor courses, and where they are taught
The bulletin names all eight individually rather than as a vague allied health grouping, so a candidate checking which seat they were allotted can match the code exactly.
| Course | Abbreviation used in the bulletin |
|---|---|
| Medical Laboratory Science | B.MLS |
| Optometry | B.OPTOM |
| Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology | B.AOTT |
| Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology | B.MRIT |
| Audiology and Speech Language Pathology | B.ASLP |
| Physiotherapy | B.PT |
| Occupational Therapy | B.OT |
| Radiation Therapy Technology | B.RTT |
| Institutions named in the bulletin | SGPGIMS Lucknow, KGMU Lucknow and UPUMS Saifai |
Stray round eligibility and what it cost
These rules decided who could turn up at Lucknow at all, and they turn on dates rather than on merit alone.
| CAHET stray round | Revised bulletin |
|---|---|
| Eligible candidates | Qualified candidates not yet admitted. |
| Resignation cut-off | Seats resigned by 03.08.2026 stayed eligible. |
| Barred candidates | Anyone already allotted and admitted. |
| Registration fee | Rs 500, non-refundable. |
| Application fee UR/OBC | Rs 750. |
| Application fee SC/ST/PwBD | Rs 500. |
| Seat allotment | Seats are given by rank at the venue. |
Note: Eligible candidates include those who skipped Round 1 and the mopup round, those who took part but were not allotted or admitted, and those allotted a seat who never took admission. Candidates who resigned an allotted seat on or before the cut-off stayed eligible. Later resignations did not. The registration fee is paid online. The application fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Allotment is not first come first served.
Helpline by test
The university publishes different numbers for different tests, and calling the wrong one wastes the call.
- For CAHET and CNET queries, the helpline is 9889383779 or 9889383797, working 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Saturday.
- For UPGET, the GNM test, the numbers are 9889383770 and 9889383774.
- For anything about a fee payment that did not go through, the university lists a separate bank helpline on 8840814101.
- Written queries about CAHET go to cahetup26@gmail.com, which the stray round bulletin itself prints.
- The office address is ABVMU, CG City, Sultanpur Road, Lucknow, and the counselling venue is the same campus. The portal and the bulletin print different PIN codes for it, so the street address is the safer one to rely on.
Checked on 10.09.2026 against the CAHET 2026 admission portal, the revised stray round bulletin for bachelor courses and the CAHET bachelor information bulletin. Dates, fees and course names are quoted from those documents.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I still apply for UP CAHET 2026?
No. The application window ran in May and June 2026, and the stray round of counselling closed its online registration on 02.09.2026 at 6:00 PM. On-campus counselling began 05.09.2026. Nothing on the portal reopens for a new candidate as on 10.09.2026.
Does CAHET cover nursing courses?
No, and this is the most common mistake. CAHET is allied healthcare only. B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing and M.Sc Nursing run through CNET, and the GNM course runs through UPGET. All three sit on the same portal with separate logins.
Which courses are in CAHET bachelor?
Eight: B.MLS, B.OPTOM, B.AOTT, B.MRIT, B.ASLP, B.PT, B.OT and B.RTT. The information bulletin names SGPGIMS Lucknow, KGMU Lucknow and UPUMS Saifai among the institutions.
Why does abvmucet26.co.in/entrance2026 show Not Found?
Because that path does not resolve on its own, though many pages still print it as the registration address. The portal home at abvmucet26.co.in works, and so do the per-course login paths beneath entrance2026, such as the CAHET bachelor login at form=4.
What did CAHET 2026 cost to apply for?
Rs 750 for unreserved and OBC candidates and Rs 500 for SC, ST and PwBD, non-refundable and non-transferable to any other examination. The stray round then charged a separate Rs 500 counselling registration fee, also non-refundable.
