Frequently Asked Questions
My SSC GD list shows UR but I applied as OBC. Is that a mistake?
Not on its own. Candidates who cleared the cut-off for the unreserved category are counted as UR, and 65,929 candidates were shortlisted that way. The lists of 23.10.2026 show both categories, so type your roll number in the box on this page to see yours.
Did the lists of 23.10.2026 change anyone's category or add candidates?
No. We compared the roll numbers and the considered category of all 1,97,348 rows with the lists of 12.10.2026 and none differ. The new part is the applied category column.
Does a place in the PET and PST list mean I am selected?
No. It only lets you appear in the Physical Efficiency Test and the Physical Standard Test, which the forces conduct. CRPF issues the call letters and no date was announced as on 26.10.2026.
My roll number is not in the lists. What should I check?
Look in List-III, which holds 60 withheld candidates. List-IV has 88 debarred candidates whose result was not processed. The notice of 12.10.2026 also names three roll numbers withheld for court cases.
Where will the final answer key and marks appear?
On ssc.gov.in, after you log in with your registered ID and password. The notice of 12.10.2026 says they follow in due course and gives no date.
