Rajasthan PTET 2026: Result, Counselling & Allotment

Rajasthan PTET 2026 result has been declared by Vardhman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU), Kota. The examination was held on 14.06.2026 for admission to the two-year B.Ed. and four-year integrated B.A. B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed. courses. Candidates can use the official PTET portal to check the result, download the scorecard and follow the counselling and college allotment process.

Checking the result and scorecard

1. Open the official PTET website at ptetvmoukota2026.in.
2. Look for the PTET 2026 result or scorecard link on the current notification section.
3. Select the relevant course or result option and enter the required application number, roll number or date of birth.
4. Submit the details and check the marks, qualifying status, rank and other information shown on the scorecard.
5. Download the result and keep a clear print or PDF copy for counselling and admission.

If the portal is slow, use the official PTET homepage again instead of relying on an old social-media link. Candidates should match their name, category, roll number and marks before proceeding to counselling.

Important Links

Note: Checked on 19.09.2026. The dashboard’s login routes to the PTET 2026 counselling module, where fourth-round allotment and reporting are handled. The old address ptet.rajasthansarkar.in still did not resolve. The guidelines PDF is 684 KB, served from the PTET portal itself.

Counselling deadlines and admission instructions can change through a fresh notice. Before paying a fee, uploading a document or reporting to a college, check the latest notice on the official VMOU PTET portal.

Counselling schedule and college allotment

After the result, qualified candidates move to the Rajasthan B.Ed. admission counselling process. The published schedule placed counselling registration and the Rs 5,000 counselling fee payment from 04.07.2026 to 15.07.2026. College choice filling was scheduled from 06.07.2026 to 16.07.2026, followed by the first college allotment on 21.07.2026. Candidates who search for P Tet 2026 should use the same official PTET portal and avoid copied links.

For candidates who received a seat in the first allotment, the next steps include paying the seat acceptance or admission amount, uploading documents, completing verification and reporting to the allotted institution within the deadline shown on the official portal. Do not treat the allotment list as final admission until the required payment and document process is completed.

Current counselling round

Checked on the official PTET-2026 portal on 19.09.2026: the fourth round is the latest. Registration with the ₹5,000 fee and college choice filling ran 07.09.2026 to 12.09.2026, and the allotment list followed on 15.09.2026. Pages still showing the third round or the 21.07.2026 first allotment as current are out of date. The dates below are lifted from the schedule table on the portal itself, which is published in Hindi.

PTET upward movement and next admission stage

Candidates who are not satisfied with the allotted college may be allowed to participate in upward movement if the official schedule provides that option. The request must be submitted through the prescribed PTET process within the notified window. A new allotment can change the college, so candidates should read the upward-movement rules before giving consent.

After allotment and verification, candidates should follow the official reporting instructions for the B.Ed. or integrated course. The final admission decision remains subject to eligibility, document verification, fee payment and the rules of the allotted institution.

Exam pattern and qualifying status

The PTET paper was an offline objective examination of 200 questions and 600 marks, conducted over three hours. The broad sections were mental ability, teaching attitude and aptitude, general awareness and language proficiency. The official guidelines state that the examination has no negative marking, while the teaching aptitude section uses the notified response-scoring method.

Qualifying the examination does not by itself guarantee a preferred college. College admission depends on merit, category, course, available seats and the counselling choices submitted by the candidate. The admission closing mark may therefore differ from the minimum qualifying requirement.

Official website

The official PTET website for result, scorecard, counselling and college allotment updates is ptetvmoukota2026.in. The address ptet.rajasthansarkar.in, which older pages still quote, did not resolve when rechecked on 19.09.2026. Always verify a fresh notice on these portals before paying a fee or uploading documents.
