The JPSC Pre result 2026 check scorecard step is the easy part: the result was declared on 02.07.2026 and 2,204 roll numbers made the list, but the exam that was supposed to follow it has not happened. The Commission postponed the Mains on 22.07.2026 until further orders, three days before it was due to start, and no new date has been put out since. If you cleared the PT, the more urgent notice is the one dated 29.07.2026 about the CID investigation, covered below.

What the result PDF actually contains
The file is a scanned press release followed by 19 pages of roll numbers in four columns. Nothing in it is sorted by name, category or marks, which is why the numbers below are worth having before you open a 23 page document on a phone.
| JPSC result PDF | Counted detail |
|---|---|
| Qualified roll numbers | 2,204 in one ascending list. |
| Roll number range | 2601100087 to 2601316804. |
| Names | No names, only roll numbers. |
| Marks or cut off | Not published for any category. |
| Category split | Not given, it is one list. |
| Exam date | Prelims were held on 19.04.2026. |
CID notice: what PT qualified candidates were asked to do
This is the part that changed the recruitment, and it is easy to miss because it sits in a plain one page notice rather than a press release.
| JPSC CID notice | What it says |
|---|---|
| Notice date | 29.07.2026, on jpsc.gov.in. |
| Investigation | Alleged exam irregularities, CID case 16/2026. |
| Who was asked | Everyone who cleared the Prelims of Advt. No. 01/2026. |
| Asked for | Copies of the Paper 1 and Paper 2 OMR sheets, as a photo or PDF. |
| Window | 30.07.2026 to 05.08.2026, now closed. |
| Where sent | The WhatsApp number and police email in the notice. |
The Commission has not linked the postponement to the investigation in writing. The 22.07.2026 press release gives no reason beyond unavoidable circumstances. We are stating the two facts in the order they happened rather than joining them for you.
Finding your roll number in the result PDF
The file has no search index, so on a phone this is easier than scrolling.
- Open the result PDF from the Important Links table above.
- Skip to page 5. Pages 1 to 4 are the press release and instructions.
- Use the reader search box and type your full ten digit roll number.
- If it appears, you are through to the Mains and the postponement applies to you.
- If it does not appear, check the number against your admit card before concluding anything.
If your roll number is not listed in the result
Two different situations get confused here, so treat them separately.
| JPSC roll number missing | What it means |
|---|---|
| Roll number missing | You did not clear this PT, there is no waiting list. |
| Search finds nothing | Some pages are scanned, check pages 5 onward by eye. |
| Different result elsewhere | JPSC reserves the right to correct typing errors. |
| Backlog exams | Advt. 05/2026 and 06/2026 have their own results. |
