JHTET 2026 paper pattern, Classes 6 to 8
The first three sections are compulsory. The fourth depends on the subject you want to teach. Questions are set at plus two level.

Note: The 52% bar covers SC, ST, PVTG and candidates with disabilities. Visually impaired, cerebral palsy and candidates with both hands affected get 30 extra minutes and a scribe. The last JHTET was in 2016, so a one-time relaxation of nine years is added to the upper age limit.
