Four months on, the result is out, rank cards for both UPJEE Polytechnic and the Post Diploma in Industrial Safety are downloadable, and counselling has run far enough to reach a separate Pharmacy round whose choice filling is open today. JEECUP 2026 is well past the exam. The paper ran from 15 to 22 May 2026 across UP centres, the result is out, and rank cards for UPJEE Polytechnic and for the Post Diploma in Industrial Safety are both downloadable from the council portal. Counselling has been running since the instructions of 22.06.2026, with revised instructions for the working professional course on 25.07.2026 and additional counselling instructions on 18.08.2026. Note: The rank card and the Pharmacy choice filling both open the same admissions.nic.in applicant portal with a long encoded parameter, so a shortened or retyped version of either link will not work. This table previously offered a Result link that simply pointed at the council home page, which is why the rank card download now takes its place. The help centre list matters for anyone stuck at choice filling, because the council routes counselling problems through those centres rather than the portal.

They come from the council’s own public notices, each of which carries its issue date, so the counselling timeline can be followed without guessing. An expected result date of 30.05.2026 sat on this page unchanged for four months, which is the failure this row set replaces.

Exam Pattern
JEECUP is a Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted in multiple shifts. The paper has 100 multiple choice questions for 400 marks. Each correct answer carries 4 marks and each wrong answer deducts 1 mark. For Group A (Engineering), subjects are Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Other groups have subject-specific papers based on the course applied for.
Counselling round by round
After the result, UP Joint Entrance Examination Council conducts online counselling in multiple rounds. Candidates need to register for counselling, lock their choices, and pay the counselling fee. Seat allotment is done on the basis of rank and preference. Candidates should carry original documents for physical verification at the allotted institute.
