Eligibility Criteria
Educational qualification: Passed Class 10 (Matriculation) or equivalent from a recognised board. Some trades (Driver, MMV) may require a trade-specific certificate or driving licence.

Selection Process
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) — running as per trade; qualifying in nature
- Physical Standard Test (PST) — height and chest measurement verification
- Computer Based Test (CBT) — 100 MCQ, 100 marks, 2 hours
- Trade Test — practical skill test for the applied trade
- Document Verification (DV)
- Medical Examination — final medical fitness check

Salary
Selected candidates are appointed at Pay Level-3 under the 7th Pay Commission. Basic pay: Rs. 21,700/month. Gross in-hand salary (including HRA, DA, and other allowances): approximately Rs. 23,000 – 28,000 per month depending on posting location. Additional benefits include CGHS, LTC, canteen facilities, and accommodation in CRPF camps.
