UP Vridha Pension 2026 – Payment Date & List Check

UP Vridha Pension is searched far more for when the money arrives than for how to apply, and that is the part most pages skip. This page works out what is actually being paid from the state’s own disbursement figures, gives the quarter pattern, and corrects two things our earlier version had wrong: the monthly amount and the helpline number. Figures are read from the official pension portal on 28.08.2026.

Pension kab aayegi and the payment schedule

The pension is not a monthly credit. It goes out quarterly, which is why a month can pass with nothing in the account and nothing actually wrong.

Pension amount per month

Three different figures circulate for this pension, ours included until today. The portal carries two of them. The third appears on it nowhere.

Note: The Rs 500 figure is from the National Old Age Pension Scheme panel and is not the total that reaches the account. Our own earlier version also carried the Rs 1,200 figure.

Reading those two official numbers together, the state appears to be adding its own share on top of the national scheme grant, so a beneficiary sees roughly double the Rs 500 the eligibility panel names. We are stating that as our reading of the portal’s own figures rather than quoting an order, because no order fixing a Rs 1,200 rate was found on the portal on 28.08.2026.

Pension list 2026 and how to check your name

The pensioner list is published by the department rather than searched by name, and that changes how you look yourself up.

It helps to know how big this scheme is before hunting for one name inside it. The old age pension alone moved Rs 7,838.79 crore across the four quarters of 2025-26, which is more than the widow, disability and leprosy pensions on the same portal put together. The department paying it is Samaj Kalyan Vibhag, while the widow pension sits with Mahila Kalyan Vibhag and the disability pension with the Divyangjan Sashaktikaran department. That matters when you go to complain, because the office that holds your record depends on which of the four you receive.

Status check by Aadhaar and registration number

The portal keeps the application stage and the payment stage apart, and each is checked somewhere different.

Eligibility, age limit and income limit

These are taken from the eligibility panel on the department’s own old age pension page, not from a summary of it. The income figures in particular are worth reading carefully, because they are annual household income and not the applicant’s own income, and because the rural and urban thresholds differ by more than ten thousand rupees. An applicant just over the rural line in a village will be refused where the same income inside municipal limits would qualify.

Note: The portal shows a maximum age of 150, which is only the form’s upper bound.

If your name is not listed or payment is not received

The seventeen per cent fall in the paid list between quarters is the context for most of these complaints. A drop that size is not a handful of individual errors. It is the scale you see when a verification drive runs across the state, and it means a pensioner who was paid in December and not in March is looking at a systemic removal rather than a lost file. The portal’s front page carries a standing instruction to older applicants to register a mobile number and verify their Aadhaar themselves, which is the department telling you, in advance, where that removal usually starts.

The number our earlier version carried is not the one the department publishes on its own pension pages.

Applying, and checking status

1. Open the integrated social pension portal and choose the old age pension section rather than the widow or disability sections.
2. Register as a new applicant, or if you applied before, register your mobile number and complete the Aadhaar verification the portal asks for.
3. Fill in personal, bank and income details, and upload the photograph and income certificate the portal lists.
4. Save the registration number shown on submission. Every later status and payment check needs it.
5. Track the application under the same section, and once sanctioned, expect the credit quarterly rather than monthly.
