SSC CPO 2026 apply online opened on 10.09.2026 and closes on 30.09.2026 at 23:00. The Staff Selection Commission’s Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination, 2026 covers 1,871 posts, all in pay Level-6 (Rs.35,400 to Rs.1,12,400).
One post in this notice follows its own rules. Sub-Inspector (Fire) in CISF has 234 vacancies for men, and you don’t need a graduation degree for it. A three-year engineering diploma after Class 10 is enough. The age limit is 18 to 30, where every other post in this exam is 20 to 25.

Exam pattern, physical test and how merit is decided
Paper-I and the physical test only get you to the next stage. Your final rank and force allocation come from Paper-II. English carries 200 of Paper-II’s 320 marks.

- Complete One-Time Registration on ssc.gov.in. Choose Aadhaar-based authentication if you can, because the notice exempts those forms from rejection over the photo and signature.
- Open the Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and CAPFs Examination, 2026 form and choose your posts and forces in the order you actually want them.
- Upload your signature as a JPEG of 10 to 20 KB, about 6 cm wide and 2 cm high.
- Pay Rs.100 online by 01.10.2026 unless your category is exempt, and check Payment Status. If the fee isn’t received, the form stays incomplete and is rejected.
- Submit before 30.09.2026 and keep the printout. Mistakes can be fixed only between 08.10.2026 and 10.10.2026.
