The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has opened recruitment 2026 for 53 posts across Group A, B and C: Junior Assistant, Stenographer, Junior Accountant, Junior Programmer and Deputy Director (Medical). Applications run from 7 July to 31 July 2026, with the exam tentatively on 5-6 September 2026. Last updated: 09.07.2026.

NBEMS is the body that conducts NEET-PG, FMGE and DNB exams. A clerical or technical post here is a Delhi-headquartered central autonomous body job, and its recruitments come rarely; the last comparable open round was years ago.

Eligibility snapshot

• Junior Assistant (39 posts): 10+2 from a recognised board, typing proficiency as per the notification, age below 27.
• Stenographer (7): 10+2 plus shorthand and typing speeds specified in the advertisement, age 18-27.
• Junior Accountant (4): commerce qualification per the notification.
• Junior Programmer (1): IT/computer science qualification per the notification.
• Deputy Director Medical (2): postgraduate medical qualification, maximum 35 years.

Selection process

Computer-based test in early September, followed by skill tests where applicable (typing for Junior Assistant, shorthand for Stenographer) and document verification. The CBT for Group C posts follows the standard central pattern: general intelligence, quantitative aptitude, English and general awareness.
