MPPSC Pre 2026 exam pattern
The Preliminary exam has two papers. Paper 1 is General Studies with 100 questions for 200 marks. Paper 2 is CSAT with 100 questions for 200 marks — qualifying only (minimum 33% required). Only Paper 1 marks are counted for shortlisting to Mains.
What happens next
Candidates shortlisted in Pre will appear for MPPSC Mains. The Mains exam has multiple papers covering General Studies, Essay, and optional subjects. After Mains, there is an Interview round. Final selection is based on combined Mains and Interview marks.
