SSC CHSL Tier 2 cut off marks 2026 and qualifying standard

Merit was built only on the first two sections of Tier-II. The other two sections had to be cleared but contributed nothing to the score, which is why a strong typing speed alone never lifted a candidate up the list.

Qualifying questionStandard fixed by the commission
Unreserved qualifying marks30 percent in Sections I, II and III of Tier-II
OBC and EWS qualifying marks25 percent in the same sections
All other categories20 percent in the same sections
Sections counted for meritOnly Section-I and Section-II of Tier-II
Sections that only qualifyComputer Knowledge Test and Skill or Typing Test
First tie-breaker appliedMarks in Section-I of Tier-II, then Tier-I, then age

CKT and typing test cut off for CHSL 2025

These two thresholds decided who stayed in the running at all. The Computer Knowledge Test carried a maximum of 45 marks in Session-I, and the typing and skill tests were judged on error percentage rather than marks.

CKT cut off unreserved13.5 out of 45 marks
