IBPS SO XVI 2026 applications opened on 1 July 2026, and candidates preparing for the preliminary exam are already asking when the admit card will be released. Here’s where things stand right now.
Current Status
Admit Card: Not Released Yet. Applications close on 21 July 2026, and the preliminary exam is expected in August 2026. Going by past IBPS SO cycles, the admit card typically becomes available around 7 to 10 days before the exam date, so expect it sometime in the first half of August 2026 once the exact exam date is confirmed.
How to Download (When Released)
- Visit the official IBPS website or the CRP SPL-XVI candidate login page.
- Click on the “Download Call Letter — Preliminary Exam” link under CRP SPL-XVI.
- Enter your registration number/roll number and password or date of birth.
- Your admit card will display your exam date, shift timing, and venue — download and print it in color.
- Carry the printed admit card along with a valid original photo ID to the exam center; entry is not allowed without both.
Exam Day Checklist
- Printed admit card and one original photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, passport, voter ID or driving licence).
- Two recent passport-size photographs, same as used during registration.
- Reach the venue at least 45–60 minutes before the reporting time — late entry is generally not permitted.
- Avoid carrying banned items such as mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators or written notes into the exam hall.
Direct download link will be added here as soon as IBPS activates it. Meanwhile, make sure your IBPS SO XVI 2026 application is complete and your preparation is aligned with the official syllabus and exam pattern, since the window between admit card release and the exam is usually short.
