IAF Group Y Medical 2026 – Apply Online

The Indian Air Force has released the IAF Group Y Medical 2026 notification for Airmen Intake 02/2027. This recruitment is specifically for Medical Assistant roles in the Indian Air Force. Applications open July 6, 2026, and close July 26, 2026, with the written exam on September 22, 2026.

Eligibility

Qualification (two pathways)

Path 1 – 10+2 candidates: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English. Minimum 50% in all four subjects. Age: up to 21 years.

Path 2 – Diploma or B.Sc Pharmacy: Diploma in Pharmacy or B.Sc Pharmacy with registration from the State Pharmacy Council. Age: up to 24 years.

Unmarried male candidates (exceptions for married diploma/pharmacy holders as per IAF rules). Indian citizenship required.

Physical Standards

• Minimum height: 152.5 cm
• Proportionate weight
• Medical fitness as per IAF standards including eyesight
