How the result process works
S.S.S.C. publishes a provisional answer key on sssc.gov.in after the CBT. You can object to any answer for a fee of Rs. 25 per objection, with proof, and even file cross-objections against proposed changes. The final key comes after this round, and the result follows.
Three numbers decide whether you move ahead: 33% in General Knowledge, 33% in English Composition, and 40% in aggregate. Objective marks are normalized across shifts. The subjective English part is checked only for candidates clearing the GK floor.

What happens after the CBT result
Shortlisted candidates take the Computer Proficiency Test: a spreadsheet test of 10 marks (pass mark 4) and an English typing test at 30 WPM. It is qualifying only. The select list is then built strictly on CBT marks; if two candidates tie, the older one ranks higher. Re-evaluation is not allowed, though you can request re-checking for Rs. 500 per answer sheet within 30 days of the final result.
PwBD candidates with conditions that limit typing speed can apply for CPT exemption within 15 days of the CBT result, with a disability certificate and a medical certificate from a government healthcare institution. The competent authority’s decision on exemption is final.
Documents to keep ready for verification
Candidates clearing both tests are called for checking of original testimonials. Arrange these now rather than scrambling later: graduation degree and all semester marksheets, matriculation certificate showing Hindi or Sanskrit as a subject (or +2/BA/MA proof of Hindi), Haryana domicile and category certificate in the latest format if claiming reservation, ESM or sports gradation certificate where applicable, and a No Objection Certificate if you are already in government service. A mismatch between your application claims and your documents cancels candidature at any stage, even after appointment.
