The Haryana Court Clerk 2026 recruitment is open. The Society for Centralized Recruitment of Staff in Subordinate Courts (S.S.S.C.), which works under the High Court of Punjab and Haryana, has advertised 1265 Clerk posts for the Subordinate Courts of Haryana through Employment Notice 36C/SSSC/HR/2026. Any graduate aged 18 to 42 can apply online at sssc.gov.in. The window closes on 23 June 2026 at 4:00 PM, and the fee must also be paid by then. Last updated: 11.06.2026.

Several of these are backlog vacancies being advertised a second time. The High Court can raise or lower the count before the merit list is prepared. Reserved category benefits apply only to candidates of Haryana; reserved category applicants from other states have to apply under General.

Eligibility

You need a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent) from a recognized university, plus proficiency in computers, meaning word processing and spreadsheets. There is one more condition that trips people up: you must have passed matriculation with Hindi or Sanskrit as a subject, or done +2/BA/MA with Hindi as a subject. All conditions must be met by 23.06.2026.

Age is counted as on 01.01.2026. The usual Haryana government relaxations apply: 5 years for SC/BC categories and certain categories of women, and service-length relaxation for ex-servicemen and adhoc/contract workers of Haryana government, capped at 52 years.

Selection process

There are two tests. The written exam is a Computer Based Test of 100 marks covering General Knowledge and English Composition, with negative marking of 0.25 per wrong objective answer. Candidates who clear it are called for a Computer Proficiency Test, which checks spreadsheets and typing at 30 words per minute. The CPT is qualifying only. How to apply

1. Go to sssc.gov.in and open the link for “Clerk Subordinate Courts of Haryana”, or use the direct apply link below.
2. Complete the registration form with a valid email and mobile number.
3. Fill the application form, upload a recent passport photo (against a white background, not more than a month old) and your signature.
4. Pay the fee through net banking, debit/credit card or UPI.
5. Submit and save a copy of the final form. The form is complete only after payment.
