State portal gap for your district

This is what sends people in circles. The department does publish a searchable register of its own recruitment documents, and we read all 78 entries in it today. The 2026 Anganwadi district cycle is not in it, and was never going to be.

Note: The 2023 ads are three years old. Mahila Supervisor is the grade above Anganwadi Worker. Finding nothing on the state portal does not mean your district never advertised. The provisional and final merit lists are also posted at the CDPO office.

Eligibility and local merit list

There is no written exam anywhere in this process. Merit comes off your marksheet and a weightage table, and it is settled inside your own project area rather than against the whole state, which is why the odds are nothing like a state-level recruitment.

Note: The residence rule is applied strictly. Check your district notice for its own age relaxations. The CDPO office builds merit from academic marks plus weightage for higher qualification, widow or divorced status and other listed criteria. A provisional list comes first, then document verification. The process is offline, so there is no payment stage.

Applying offline, and what an honorarium engagement means

Worth reading before the next round opens. The form goes in by hand, an incomplete one is simply set aside, and nobody rings to tell you. The last two rows cover what the job actually is, which is not what most applicants assume when they submit.

1. Watch your own project office notice board for the district notification, because it will not appear on the state portal.
2. Fill the district’s printed application form by hand. There is no common state form and no online submission.
3. Attach self-attested marksheets, Aadhaar, marriage proof, local residence proof for the ward, and a caste certificate where you claim one.
4. Submit at the CDPO office of your project area, or the collection point the notice names, before your district’s own last date.
5. Ask for an acknowledgement receipt, since there is no application number to check online afterwards.

Note: There is no common state form and no online submission. Marksheets are self-attested. Residence proof can be a ward ration card or voter ID. There is no application number to check online later. The monthly honorarium is set by the state, revised from time to time, and differs for workers, mini workers and helpers. The Mahila Supervisor grade is recruited separately and appears on the state register.
