Eligibility criteria

Educational qualification: Graduation in any discipline with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD) from a recognised university, OR CA / CFA / CMA-ICWA, OR MBA / PGDBM / a 2-year full-time PG in Banking, Finance or a related field.

Work experience: Relevant post-qualification experience of 3 to 7 years, depending on the scale applied for — higher scales require more years of experience.

Bank of India Credit Officer 2026 exam pattern

The online exam has two sections: English Language and Professional Knowledge (relevant to the post applied for). English Language is only qualifying — your score there doesn’t count toward the merit list. Only Professional Knowledge marks decide your rank, and there’s a negative marking of 1/4 mark for each wrong answer. Where both stages are conducted, the final merit list uses a 70:30 weightage between the online exam and the interview.
