The RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 1 Result 2026 for CEN 06/2025 was published on 12 June 2026, and the process has since moved a full stage further. The CBT 2 scorecard link went up on 27 August 2026. What has not appeared yet is the CBAT and CBTST shortlist with zone-wise cut off marks, and that is the document that decides who continues.
CBT 2 result 2026 link – what is out and what is not
Several sites are reporting this simply as the result being out. The official listing is more specific, and the difference decides whether you know your fate yet.
| RRB NTPC CBT 2 result | Official listing |
|---|---|
| CBT 2 result | The CBT 2 scorecard link came out on 27-08-2026. |
| Merit list | No CBAT/CBTST shortlist for CEN 06/2025 is out yet. |
| Zone wise cut off | Not published for this CEN as on 28.08.2026. |
| CBT 1 result date | It came on 12-06-2026 with the CBT 2 shortlist. |
| CBT 2 exam date | CBT 2 was held on 10.07.2026. |
| Official website | rrb.indianrailways.gov.in, the unified site since 18.08.2026. |
Note: An objection window on the CBT 2 answer keys followed the exam.
A scorecard tells you your marks. A shortlist tells you whether those marks were enough. Right now only the first exists, so a candidate can see a score and still not know whether they have cleared.

Scorecard download and what it shows
The CBT 2 scorecard is an individual login document, unlike CBT 1 where RRB also published a roll-number PDF anyone could open.
| RRB NTPC scorecard download | Answer |
|---|---|
| Scorecard link | Open the CEN 06/2025 Exam Results section of your zone. |
| Scorecard login | Use your registration number with date of birth or password. |
| Normalised marks | They are shown beside raw marks with your qualifying status. |
| Normalisation reason | CBT 2 ran in several shifts, so raw marks are not comparable. |
| Scorecard link validity | The link closes after a set window, as CBT 1’s did on 27 June 2026. |
| Score card kaise nikale | Download the PDF the day you see it, closed links do not reopen. |
Roll number not showing in the scorecard
Most reports of a missing result are one of the five situations below rather than an error by the board.
| RRB NTPC roll number not showing | Likely meaning |
|---|---|
| Login rejected | Use the registration number, not the fee receipt number. |
| Roll number not in list | Check your own zone’s page, each RRB lists only its candidates. |
| Result not showing | Expected now, the shortlist comes with the CBAT/CBTST list. |
| Website not opening | Use rrb.indianrailways.gov.in and pick your zone. |
| Normalised marks lower | Compare only the normalised figure, it moves both ways. |
CBAT and CBTST shortlist, and cut off zone wise
The previous graduate cycle gives a usable reference for what happens next, because RRB ran it the same way.
| RRB NTPC last cycle (CEN 05/2024) | What happened |
|---|---|
| Shortlist and cut off | They came on 15-12-2025 for the Graduate posts. |
| CBT 2 scorecard | It came on 16-12-2025, one day after the shortlist. |
| Order this time | Reversed: scorecard first on 27-08-2026, shortlist still pending. |
| CBAT candidates | Station Master and Traffic Assistant candidates. |
| CBTST candidates | Candidates for typing posts like clerical and accounts roles. |
| CBAT qualifying | It has its own minimum with no relaxation for reserved categories. |
Because the two documents came a day apart last cycle, the shortlist for CEN 06/2025 is likely close behind the scorecard rather than weeks away. That is a pattern, not a promise, and this page will carry the date once the entry actually appears.
Checking result step by step
- Open the unified RRB site and choose your zone, since each board publishes only its own candidates
- Go to Recruitment (CENs) and select 06/2025
- Open Exam Results for that CEN
- Look for the entry titled Link for Downloading Score Card of CBT-2, dated 27-08-2026
- Log in with your registration number and date of birth or password
- Download the scorecard PDF straight away rather than bookmarking the page
- Check the CEN 06/2025 Exam Results list again for the CBAT/CBTST shortlist, which is the document that confirms selection
Actual cut off trend, zone wise
For UR candidates in Category 1 posts, cut offs this year ran between roughly 80 and 89 marks, noticeably higher than 2025’s CBT 2 range of 69 to 72. RRB Bhopal (89.56) and RRB Ranchi (88.86) posted the toughest cut offs among the 14 RRB zones, while other zones landed somewhat lower depending on how many applicants competed for each post.
Exact category-wise and zone-wise figures are published as a PDF alongside the result. Check your specific RRB zone’s page for the number that applies to you, since a single national average doesn’t capture how much zones differ.
Last date to apply and whether the form is still open
| RRB NTPC 2026 form | Position as on 29.08.2026 |
|---|---|
| Last date to apply | It was 27.11.2025 and has not reopened. |
| 2026 form status | No graduate NTPC CEN has been notified in 2026. |
| Station Master vacancy 2026 | It is part of CEN 06/2025, not a new notification. |
| Next notification date | No date is announced for the next NTPC cycle. |
| Vacancy announcements | On RRB notice boards and the central application portal. |
A lot of people are still searching for a last date on a 2026 Station Master form. That deadline passed nine months ago. If you did not apply by 27 November 2025, nothing in this recruitment is still open to you.
Railway recruitment notifications open in 2026
Four centralised employment notifications carry a 2026 number. If you came here wanting a railway form you can actually fill, these are the ones to check.
| Notification | What it recruits for |
|---|---|
| CEN 01/2026 | Assistant Loco Pilot |
| CEN 02/2026 | Technician |
| CEN 03/2026 | Section Controller. Detailed notification 15.07.2026, corrigendum on revised PwBD suitability 10.08.2026 |
| CEN 04/2026 | Junior Engineer and DMS. Detailed notification 13.08.2026, Corrigendum No. 1 on 18.08.2026 |
Of these, Section Controller is the closest thing to Station Master work, since both sit in the operating department. The eligibility and pay level are not the same, so read the CEN before assuming it is a like-for-like swap.
Exam stages completed under CEN 06/2025 and what comes next
| RRB NTPC important dates | Date |
|---|---|
| Notification released | Released on 20.10.2025. |
| Application window | Open from 21.10.2025 to 27.11.2025. |
| CBT 1 exam | Held 16.03.2026 to 27.03.2026. |
| CBT 1 result and cut off | Declared on 11.06.2026. |
| CBT 2 exam | Held on 10.07.2026. |
| Applications received notice | Issued on 04.08.2026. |
| CBAT and CBTST shortlist, CBT-2 score card | Released on 27.08.2026. |
| Document verification | Not scheduled yet. |
The 27 August notice is a shortlist for a second-stage test, not a final selection. Which test you sit depends on the post you applied for, and your own result PDF names it. The notice title mentions both CBAT and CBTST, but that does not mean every shortlisted candidate takes both.
List of posts and vacancy breakup
Goods Train Manager took the largest share of the 5,810 posts. Station Master, the role most people ask about, accounted for fewer than a thousand.
| RRB NTPC Graduate vacancy | Posts |
|---|---|
| Goods Train Manager | 3,423 posts, close to three-fifths of the CEN. |
| Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist | About 1,000 posts, with a typing test. |
| Station Master | 994 posts, the most asked-about role. |
| Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor | 246 posts. |
| Senior Clerk cum Typist | 147 posts, the smallest share. |
Zone-wise splits differ from these totals. What decides your competition is the vacancy table for your own RRB region, which is a much smaller number than the all-India figure.
Eligibility, age limit and qualification
| RRB NTPC eligibility | Notification |
|---|---|
| Qualification | A bachelor’s degree held at the time of applying. |
| Minimum age | 18 years. |
| Maximum age | 36 years before relaxation. |
| Age relaxation | Standard central government relaxation by category. |
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 2 result out?
The CBT 2 scorecard link was published on 27 August 2026 for CEN 06/2025. The CBAT and CBTST shortlist with zone-wise cut off marks had still not been published as on 28 August 2026, so a score is visible but selection status is not.
What is the difference between the scorecard and the merit list?
The scorecard shows your raw and normalised marks. The shortlist shows whether those marks cleared the cut off for CBAT or CBTST. Only the scorecard is out right now.
Where do I check the RRB NTPC result now?
On the unified site rrb.indianrailways.gov.in, choosing your zone, then Recruitment (CENs), then 06/2025, then Exam Results. RRB issued a notice on 18 August 2026 migrating zonal websites to this single site.
Why are my normalised marks different from my raw marks?
CBT 2 ran across multiple shifts, so RRB normalises scores to make them comparable across papers of differing difficulty. Normalisation can move a score up or down, and only the normalised figure is used for shortlisting.
My roll number does not appear anywhere. What should I do?
Check you are looking at your own zone's page, since each RRB publishes only its own candidates. Also confirm you are using the registration number from the application rather than the fee receipt number.
When will the CBAT and CBTST shortlist be released?
No date has been announced. In the previous graduate cycle, CEN 05/2024, the shortlist and cut off appeared on 15 December 2025 and the CBT 2 scorecard a day later, so the gap was short. That is a pattern from last cycle, not a commitment for this one.
