Haryana Parivar Pehchan Patra 2026 is the eight digit Family ID that decides whether a Haryana household reaches a welfare scheme at all, and the Family ID apply route costs nothing. The authority says so in writing: creating or updating a PPP is free and an operator may not charge for it. Two things have changed that most pages here have not caught up with. A citizen can now create a PPP through Citizen Login without visiting a CSC, and the beneficiary portal names the schemes a family qualifies for but has never claimed.
PPP system status in 2026
PPP is run by two bodies with a portal each, and opening the wrong one wastes a trip. Everything below was read off those portals on 10.09.2026.
| Haryana Parivar Pehchan Patra | Where / what |
|---|---|
| Family ID apply | Create or correct it on ppp-office.haryana.gov.in. |
| Beneficiary portal | Check schemes on meraparivar.haryana.gov.in. |
| Schemes you get | The portal lists schemes against your Family ID. |
| Unclaimed schemes | The portal highlights schemes you never claimed. |
| Helpline number | Call 0172-4880500 or 9888633322. |
| Grievance email | Write to grievances-hppa.crid@hry.gov.in. |
| Daily downtime | The site is down daily from 1:00 – 1:15 pm. |
| Schemes on portal | 12 schemes are named on the front page. |
Note: Checked on 10.09.2026. Family IDs are run by the Haryana Parivar Pehchan Authority. The beneficiary portal by the Citizen Resources Information Department. Finding schemes you qualify for but never claimed is the one feature worth logging in for. The helpline works 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Saturday. A lunchtime failure is the daily downtime, not a fault with your account. The 12 schemes include Chirayu Ayushman Bharat, old age Samman allowance, Divyang pension, widow pension, ration card, Vivah Shagun, maternity benefit, Aapki Beti Hamari Beti, Ladli, the bicycle scheme and Saksham Yuva.
An earlier version of this page listed 1800-2000-023 as the PPP helpline. That number appears on neither official PPP portal, and the numbers above are the ones both of them publish. If you called the old number and got nowhere, that is why.

Enrolment, fees and the two kinds of Family ID
Two official documents disagree about who may create a PPP, which is where most of the confusion on this subject comes from.
| Family ID enrolment | State rule |
|---|---|
| Family ID fee | Creating or updating a Family ID is free. |
| Permanent Family ID | It has 8 digits, for families living in Haryana. |
| Temporary Family ID | It has 9 digits starting with T, for families outside Haryana. |
| Application points | Apply at a CSC, SARAL Kendra or PPP operator. |
| Apply online yourself | Self-service creation through Citizen Login is allowed. |
| Documents per scheme | Once verified, no documents are needed for each scheme. |
Note: Creation and updation is free, and an operator does not need to be paid. A permanent ID is for any family living in Haryana. A temporary ID is for a family outside Haryana applying for a Haryana scheme, the case most pages omit. The CSC centres are run by village level entrepreneurs. SARAL means Antyodaya SARAL Kendras. The 2020 PDF says self-service creation is not available, but the later portal notice, which is in force, lets an unregistered citizen create a Family ID through Citizen Login. Once PPP data is authenticated, a beneficiary need not submit further documents or apply scheme by scheme. An earlier version of this page carried a documents checklist that contradicted this.
Uneditable wrong PPP entries
This is the part that matters if a pension or a ration card has stopped. The reason a wrong income, caste or family member cannot simply be corrected is written into how PPP verifies data, and it is not a website fault.
| PPP correction | Authority rule |
|---|---|
| Verified fields | A field marked verified cannot be edited. |
| Edits after upload | Only one change is allowed after the signed upload. |
| OTP number | The OTP goes to the head of family’s mobile. |
| Correction module | It is under the Citizen Login tab. |
| Left out of a scheme | Use the exclusion grievance form. |
| Wrong caste entry | Use the separate caste grievance form. |
Note: PPP verifies data electronically and by field visit, and a field marked verified cannot be edited at all. Edits are unlimited in principle, but only one change is allowed once the signed PPP document is uploaded. A stale head-of-family number blocks every self-service route. A citizen can apply for a correction without an operator. Exclusion from a scheme and a wrong caste entry each have their own grievance route, separate from data correction.
Correcting your record and raising a grievance
Do these in order. The mobile number comes first because everything else authenticates through it.
- Confirm the mobile number on the Family ID is one you hold, using the update mobile number link in the table above.
- Open Citizen Login and enter the Family ID. An OTP goes to the head of family’s registered mobile.
- Inside, open the correction module and check which fields are editable. A field shown as verified is locked and no operator can change it either.
- If the field you need is locked and a benefit depends on it, use the exclusion grievance form rather than trying the correction module again.
- For a wrong caste entry, use the caste grievance form, which is a separate route.
- If you have no PPP at all, create one through Citizen Login. No CSC visit is required, and no operator may charge you for it.
- Then open the beneficiary portal and read the list of schemes your family qualifies for but has not claimed. That list is the whole point of the exercise.
Read on 10.09.2026 from the Haryana Parivar Pehchan Authority portal, the beneficiary portal and the authority’s own Family ID explainer, dated 24.12.2020. The two disagree on self-service creation, and the newer portal notice is the one in force.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is there any fee for making a Parivar Pehchan Patra?
No. The Haryana Parivar Pehchan Authority's own notice states that creation and updation of a PPP is a free service and that an operator does not need to be paid any fee by a citizen. If a centre asks for money, that is not an official charge.
Can I create a PPP without going to a CSC centre?
Yes. The portal's current notice says a Haryana citizen who is not registered in PPP can create their own Family ID through Citizen Login with no CSC visit. The authority's 2020 explainer PDF still says self-service creation is unavailable; the portal notice is later and is the one in force.
What is the official PPP helpline number?
0172-4880500, with 9888633322 as a second number, working 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Saturday. Written complaints go to grievances-hppa.crid@hry.gov.in. Both official portals publish these, checked 10.09.2026.
Why can I not edit my income or caste in the PPP record?
PPP verifies data electronically and by field visit, and once a field is marked verified it cannot be edited at all, by you or by an operator. If a benefit depends on that locked field, the exclusion grievance route is the one to use, and a wrong caste entry has its own separate grievance form.
What is a nine digit Family ID starting with T?
It is a temporary Family ID, issued to a family living outside Haryana that applies for a Haryana scheme. A family residing in Haryana gets a permanent eight digit ID instead.
