SBI Clerk 2026 Overview

Eligibility criteria

Educational qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Final year students who have appeared in their graduation exam can also apply (subject to meeting qualification criteria before joining).

Age limit: 20 to 28 years. Relaxation: SC/ST 5 years, OBC 3 years, PwBD 10 years, Ex-servicemen as per rules.

Language proficiency: Knowledge of the official language of the state/UT applied for is preferred. Local language test (LPT) conducted after Mains.

SBI Clerk Exam Pattern

Prelims: 100 questions, 1 hour — English Language (30), Numerical Ability (35), Reasoning Ability (35)

Mains: 190 questions, 2 hours 40 mins — General Financial Awareness (50), General English (40), Quantitative Aptitude (50), Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude (50)

Negative marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in both phases.
