JSSC Para Teacher 2026 registration is open from 29.09.2026 to 18.10.2026 for 6,101 Trained Assistant Acharya posts under Advertisement 04/2026 (JTAACCE-2026). The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission first ran this form from 31.07.2026 to 30.08.2026 and reopened it through Notice No. 2 dated 29.09.2026. These posts are reserved for para teachers who are already working.
Only serving para teachers (Sahayak Adhyapak) of the Jharkhand Education Project Council can apply. They must have at least two years of continuous service on the date the advertisement was published and still be working on that date. Minimum age is 21, not 18.

Note: The application portal contradicts itself on the closing time. Its top banner reads 18 October 2026 12:00:00 PM, while its own Important Dates page and Notice No. 2 say midnight. Submit before noon on 18.10.2026 and the conflict cannot hurt you. Notice No. 2 changed the dates for unavoidable reasons. It says the fee payment date will be published separately, so a listing that gives 18.10.2026 as the fee deadline is ahead of the commission. Candidates from outside the Jharkhand SC and ST categories who pay the concessional Rs 50 risk having their application cancelled. The fee is not refunded.

- Choose Advertisement 04/2026, 05/2026 or both in the same form. One fee covers both.
- Keep your experience certificate ready. It must come from the Block Education Extension Officer for Classes 1 to 5, or the Area Education Officer for Classes 6 to 8.
- Upload the photo and signature by 22.10.2026 and pay the fee once the commission announces the payment date.

Note: Totals are from the district tables in the 04/2026 brochure, and we added them up. The 05/2026 backlog brochure says Advertisement 04/2026 has 6,106 posts, five more than its own district tables add up to. We go by the tables, which list every district. The backlog posts are 847 for Classes 1 to 5, 19 for language, 248 for maths and science and 84 for social science, which makes 1,198. Paschimi Singhbhum has the most Class 1 to 5 posts (204) and Palamu the most language posts (208). Ramgarh has the fewest primary posts, 12. Merit is drawn up statewide and by the subject group in which you cleared the TET.

Note: Clause 6 of the brochure reserves every post for para teachers working under the Jharkhand Education Project Council. A graduate with a B.Ed and a TET but no para teaching service cannot apply, whatever an aggregator listing suggests. PwD candidates get 10 more years and ex-servicemen 5 more. CTET or a neighbouring state’s TET is accepted only if the candidate clears JTET within three years of appointment. SC, ST, BC and PwD candidates get a 5% relaxation in qualifying marks, and PVTG candidates 7%.
