DSSSB ASO is a Grade B post under the Delhi Government. Selected candidates are posted across various Delhi government departments for administrative and secretarial duties. Selection is through a Computer Based Test only. No interview.

Eligibility criteria
Educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university. For ASO posts, the subject does not matter.
Age limit: 18 to 27 years. Relaxation: SC/ST 5 years, OBC 3 years, PwBD 10 years, Ex-servicemen as per rules.
Typing speed: English 35 wpm or Hindi 30 wpm for certain posts, tested separately after the written exam.

Salary and pay scale
DSSSB ASO falls under Pay Level 6: Rs. 35,400 to 1,12,400 per month. In-hand salary with HRA works out to roughly Rs. 45,000 to 55,000 per month.
Selection process
- Tier I (CBT): 200 questions, 200 marks, 2 hours. Five sections: General Awareness, Reasoning, Arithmetic, Hindi, English. Negative marking 0.25 per wrong answer.
- Skill test / Typing test: Qualifying in nature.
- Document verification: Final stage.
