IAF Medical Assistant 2026 Apply Online 🔴 Expired

Indian Air Force recruited Airmen Group Y Medical Assistant under Intake 02/2027, and the stage now is the answer key. Applications ran from 6 July to 26 July 2026 and the online exam was held on 23 September 2026. The objection window against the question paper and provisional answer keys is open in the candidate login from 1000 hrs on 26.09.2026 to 2355 hrs on 28.09.2026. This is a trade-specific entry alongside the main Agniveervayu intake, for candidates with a biology background at 10+2 or a pharmacy qualification. Last updated: 26.09.2026.

Medical Assistants work in IAF hospitals and station medical centres handling nursing assistance, dispensary work, first aid and medical documentation. If you have biology in 12th or a pharmacy diploma and want a defence uniform without an NEET score, this trade is the direct route.

Important dates

Note: This page carried the exam as 22.09.2026 to 23.09.2026. The Air Force’s own objection notice for the Airmen examination names 23rd September 2026 alone, and the 22nd belongs to the Agniveervayu STAR paper held the same week, so the Medical Assistant trade sat only on the 23rd. The objection window opened this morning and closes at 2355 hrs on 28.09.2026.

The candidate login is the only place an objection can be filed, and the application form it used to hold closed on 26.07.2026.

Trade-specific intakes like this fill quietly because most aspirants only watch the main Agniveervayu window. If your 12th had biology, you have an eligibility edge most of the crowd lacks. The form closes 26 July.

Eligibility, two routes

Route 1: 10+2 PCB

• Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English, minimum 50 percent aggregate and 50 percent in English.
• Unmarried, born between 01.01.2006 and 01.01.2010 (upper age 21).

Route 2: Pharmacy qualified

• Diploma in Pharmacy or B.Sc/B.Pharm with minimum 50 percent, plus valid registration with a State Pharmacy Council.
• Upper age 24: unmarried candidates born between 01.01.2003 and 01.01.2008; married candidates born between 01.01.2003 and 01.01.2006 are also eligible under this route as per the notification.

The advertisement sets the minimum height for Medical Assistant and Medical Assistant (Pharmacist) at 152 cm, not the 152.5 cm this page carried earlier. Minimum chest circumference is 77 cm with at least 5 cm expansion. Visual acuity must be 6/36 in each eye correctable to 6/6, refractive error must not exceed +3.50D including astigmatism, and colour vision CP-II is required.

Raising an objection, and what follows it

1. Log in to the candidate account used for the application, linked in the Important Links table above.
2. Open the objection module, which is live only from 1000 hrs on 26.09.2026 to 2355 hrs on 28.09.2026.
3. Read the provisional answer key against the question paper and your own recorded responses.
4. Raise the objection question by question, quoting the question as numbered in the paper shown to you.
5. Submit inside the window. An objection sent by email or after the closing hour is not entertained at all.
6. Wait for the scrutiny. The final key and the Phase I result reach the same login, with no separate notice by post or SMS.
7. Candidates who clear Phase I get the Phase II call letter in that login, for the physical fitness test, the adaptability tests and the medical.
