NEET UG 2026 Fee Refund – Update Bank Details (22-27 May)

NEET UG 2026 applications closed on 11 March. If you applied and paid the fee, you’re already in the system. Here’s what’s happening now — NTA opened a refund window from 22-27 May specifically for candidates who need to update their bank details. Why does this matter? Because if your bank account information is wrong, your refund won’t go through.

How to update your bank details

Step 1: Access the portal
Go to examinationservices.nic.in/neetc2026 and login using your application number and date of birth.

Step 2: Find the refund section
Look for “Bank Details,” “Refund Request,” or “Fee Refund Information” — different versions of the portal may use different labels.

Step 3: Enter your bank account information
You’ll need:

• Bank account number (checking or savings)
• IFSC code (6 letters + 0 + 4 digits)
• Account holder name (must match your ID proof)
• Bank name

Step 4: Double-check everything
Seriously. Banks match account numbers character by character. One wrong digit and your refund bounces back.

Step 5: Submit and save confirmation
Take a screenshot or print the confirmation page. Keep it as proof.

Timeline for your refund

• Refund request submitted: 22-27 May
• Processing time: Usually 7-14 days
• Expected credit: Early June 2026 (estimate)

Banks move slower than you’d expect. If your refund doesn’t arrive by mid-June, contact NTA.

Eligibility requirements

You’re eligible for NEET UG if:

• You passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
• You’re at least 17 years old (born on or before 31 Dec 2009)
• No maximum age limit
• You have an Aadhar Card (mandatory)
