When the result is out, follow these steps:
- Visit ugcnet.nta.nic.in
- Click on “UGC NET June 2026 Result”
- Log in with your Application Number and Date of Birth
- Your scorecard will appear â check both Paper 1 and Paper 2 marks
- Download and save the scorecard for future use

Qualifying the exam does not guarantee selection. The actual cut off for JRF and Assistant Professor is set separately based on the number of qualified candidates and available positions.
What happens after the result
The result decides which of the three qualifying categories a candidate falls into, and each one carries a different entitlement and validity period.
