UPSSSC Auditor 2026 – 1829 Posts, Apply 14 July 🟢 Active

UPSSSC’s next big mains is out: Auditor and Assistant Accountant recruitment 2026 with 1,829 posts. Online applications open on 14 July 2026 and close on 3 August 2026. Like every UPSSSC mains, only PET qualified candidates can apply, and the fee is the flat ₹25. Last updated: 09.07.2026.

The notification is already on the UPSSSC site, so you can read the exam scheme and post-wise split before the form even opens. Use these five days to fix your documents; the application itself takes fifteen minutes if your PET login works.

Eligibility

• Valid UPSSSC PET score for the year specified in the notification.
• For Auditor and Assistant Accountant posts, a commerce-stream bachelor’s degree (B.Com or equivalent) is the core requirement; check the notification annexure for post-wise variations and any accounting qualification clauses.
• Age 21 to 40 years as on the cut-off date, standard UP relaxations apply.

What the posts are

Auditors work in the Local Fund Audit and cooperative departments checking accounts of local bodies; Assistant Accountants sit in various UP departments maintaining ledgers, reconciliations and payment records. Both are steady desk posts in the Pay Matrix with regular promotion channels. For B.Com graduates who cleared PET, this is the most directly matched recruitment UPSSSC has published this year.

Selection process

PET shortlisting first, then a single objective mains covering accountancy and commerce subjects, general knowledge of UP, and reasoning, followed by document verification. Final merit is mains-based. The exact subject weightage is in the exam scheme annexure of the notification; download it from the official site before buying any coaching material.

How to apply (from 14 July)

1. Open upsssc.gov.in → All Notifications and select the Auditor / Assistant Accountant 2026 advertisement.
2. Log in with PET credentials and let the form pull your PET details.
3. Enter your B.Com degree details, upload documents, pay ₹25 and submit.
4. Keep the application PDF and check the site weekly for the correction window and exam date.
