UPESSC Asst Professor BEd 2026 – Re-open Form 🟢 Active

UPESSC has re-opened the online form for Assistant Professor (B.Ed) recruitment 2026 in Uttar Pradesh’s aided degree colleges. The fresh window runs from 10 July to 20 July 2026 for 107 posts. And here is the detail that actually matters: candidates who applied under the B.Ed subject earlier must apply again. The commission revised the notification, so old B.Ed-subject applications stand cancelled. Last updated: 09.07.2026.

The original window ran from 28 April to 27 May 2026. If you applied back then for the B.Ed subject and assume your form is safe, it is not. Re-apply in this window or you are out of the process.

Eligibility for the B.Ed subject posts

• Master’s degree with at least 55 percent marks in Science, Mathematics, Social Science, Commerce or a language subject, along with M.Ed with 55 percent; or
• Master’s in Sociology with 55 percent along with B.Ed / B.El.Ed as per the revised notification; and
• UGC NET in Education or Ph.D/D.Phil as per UGC norms. NET-exempt Ph.D holders should check the exact clause in the revised notification before applying.

The 55 percent requirement gets the usual 5 percent relaxation for reserved categories under UP government rules.

How to apply

1. Go to the OTR portal at bed.upessc.org/otr.
2. Complete one-time registration if you have not already. Existing OTR holders log in directly.
3. Select the Assistant Professor (B.Ed) 2026 re-open application and fill in your academic record, NET/Ph.D details and teaching experience if any.
4. Upload documents, pay the category-wise fee and submit before 20 July.
5. Keep the final PDF. UPESSC asks for the application number at every later stage.

Selection process

UPESSC selects through a written examination followed by interview. The written exam covers the subject paper (Education/B.Ed syllabus at PG level) and follows the commission’s standard Assistant Professor pattern. The exam date will come after the re-open window closes; based on how UPESSC has scheduled other subjects this year, expect it in the second half of 2026.
