AIAPGET 2026 Admission – Apply Online

AIAPGET 2026 Admission registration is open for admission to postgraduate ASU & H courses for the 2026–27 academic session. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test as a common computer-based entrance examination for MD/MS courses in Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy.

Eligibility for AIAPGET 2026

A candidate must possess a recognized BAMS, BUMS, BSMS, BHMS or Graded BHMS degree, or a recognized provisional pass certificate under the applicable NCISM or NCH provisions. The candidate must also hold a permanent or provisional registration certificate issued by the relevant authority, State or Union Territory board.

Applicants must have completed the required one-year internship or be likely to complete it according to the applicable NCISM or NCH notification. NTA has also published a separate notice on the internship-completion cut-off date. Candidates should read that latest notice before submitting the form because eligibility for the examination and eligibility for admission are checked under the applicable regulatory and counselling rules.

There is no age limit mentioned for appearing in AIAPGET 2026. Qualifying the examination alone does not guarantee admission. Candidates must also satisfy the requirements of NCISM, NCH and the relevant central, state or Union Territory counselling authority.

AIAPGET syllabus and curriculum links

The NTA Information Bulletin says that the syllabus will cover the subject and knowledge areas prescribed under the graduate-level education regulations of the respective discipline. NTA directs candidates to the NCISM or NCH website for the complete curriculum. A single common syllabus PDF for every discipline is not listed on the NTA page, so applicants should use the curriculum relevant to their course.

AIAPGET application fee

Payment is online through net banking, debit card, credit card or UPI. Bank or payment-gateway processing charges and GST, where applicable, are extra. The examination fee is non-refundable after payment.

How to apply online

1. Open the official NTA AIAPGET website.
2. Register for the online application and note the system-generated application number.
3. Create a password and complete personal, course, qualification and examination-city details.
4. Upload the live photograph, scanned photograph, signature and applicable identity or PwBD documents.
5. Pay the examination fee online before the payment deadline.
6. Confirm that the confirmation page has been generated.
7. Download and save multiple copies of the confirmation page.

Use an active email address and mobile number because NTA will send communications through the registered details. Only one application should be submitted. Check the name, date of birth, gender, category, photograph and qualification details carefully because changes after the correction period will not be accepted.

What happens after AIAPGET

NTA will conduct the examination, display recorded responses and answer keys, process challenges and declare the score and merit list. The scorecard will be available online; it will not be sent individually by post or email. Counselling and admission will be handled by the relevant counselling authorities. Candidates must verify seat, reservation, domicile, internship and qualification conditions before joining a course.

For the examination, carry the admit card, a valid original photo ID, a recent photograph and any applicable PwBD document. Mobile phones, smart watches, calculators, books, notes, bags and other prohibited items are not allowed inside the examination centre.
