Airports Authority of India uploaded the discipline-wise syllabus for Advt No. 12/2026/CHQ/DR-CBT on 10 August and 13 August 2026, under the Syllabus column of that advertisement. Each document is titled Syllabus and Weightage for Computer Based Test and confirms the same pattern for every post: 120 marks, two hours, Part-A general ability plus Part-B subject knowledge, and no negative marking. Has AAI released the syllabus for Advt 12/2026
The advertisement had only promised that the syllabus would come later, which left candidates preparing from previous-year guesswork for three weeks. That upload has now happened for most posts.

Because there is no negative marking, a blank answer is worth exactly the same as a wrong one. Attempting the whole paper is the correct strategy here, unlike PSU tests that penalise guesses. Treat any coaching source quoting an exact question count as unverified until AAI itself publishes it.
AAI Part A and Part B weightage post wise
This single table decides how a candidate should split revision hours, and it is what most aspirants get wrong. Two people sitting the same 120-mark paper can have subject-knowledge shares twenty percentage points apart.

In practice a Manager (Engg-Civil) candidate is facing an 84-mark technical paper with a 36-mark general section attached, while a Manager (Operations) candidate faces an even split. The revision plan that suits one is the wrong plan for the other.
