The J&K PM Awas Yojana Urban 2026 provides interest subsidy on home loans to EWS and LIG families in urban areas of Jammu & Kashmir. Under Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme (CLSS), EWS families (income up to ₹3 lakh/year) get a subsidy of ₹2.67 lakh on a home loan of ₹6 lakh. Eligibility
- Urban resident of Jammu & Kashmir (UT)
- Family income as per above category
- First-time home buyer — no pucca house in any family member’s name anywhere in India
- Female family member must be co-owner (EWS/LIG)
- Property must be in J&K urban area
How to Apply
- Visit pmaymis.gov.in or go to the J&K Housing Board office
- Take a home loan from any Central Nodal Agency partner bank (SBI, HDFC, LIC HFL, etc.)
- Bank verifies and applies for CLSS subsidy on your behalf
- Subsidy credited directly to your loan account — reduces outstanding principal
