Shortlisting Ratio for Interview
SBI shortlists around 3 to 5 times the number of vacancies for interview. With 100 posts, roughly 300 to 500 candidates will get called for Phase II. Shortlisting is done separately for each category to maintain reservation proportions.
Documents Required at Interview Stage
- Original and self-attested copy of graduation certificate and marksheets (all semesters)
- IIBF Certificate in Forex — original mandatory
- Proof of 2 years experience in trade finance or forex — appointment letter plus salary slips
- Category certificate (OBC/SC/ST/EWS) in central government format, recently issued
- Age proof — birth certificate or Class 10 marksheet
- Aadhaar card and 3 passport-size photographs
- NOC from current employer if working in a government organisation
Final Merit and Selection
The final list uses combined Phase I and Phase II marks. Phase I is 200 marks, the interview is 50, total 250. Getting a high written test score does not protect you if you score below the interview minimum — 25 for General, 22.5 for SC/ST/PwBD. Both stages need to be cleared independently.
