CSIR UGC NET June 2026 Answer Key is now on the NTA portal along with the question papers and every candidate’s recorded responses. The challenge window opened on 16.08.2026 and closes on 18.08.2026 at 11:00 PM. Each question challenged carries a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200, and objections are accepted online only. Nothing sent by email, post or any other route is entertained.

How to check the answer key and raise a challenge
- Open the official CSIR NET portal listed in the Important Links section at the end of this page.
- Click the answer key challenge link and log in with your application number and password, then enter the captcha.
- Open the question paper view to see your recorded responses against each question ID.
- Compare the option marked as correct in the provisional key with the answer you believe is right.
- Tick the option or options you want to claim as correct for that question ID.
- Upload any supporting document as a single PDF file, then save your claims.
- Pay Rs 200 for every question you challenged using a credit card, debit card, net banking or UPI.
- Submit before 11:00 PM on 18.08.2026 and keep the payment receipt, because an unpaid claim is discarded.
